By Air

AIRPORT/CITY CENTRE CONNECTIONS by  regular bus services and taxi

•n° 23: Airport /SNCF Rail station        Price : 1 Euros one way

•n° 98: Airport/Bus Station         Price : 4 Euros day pass

Departures from Terminal 1 every 30 minutes,  between 6 am and 9pm

"Ligne d'Azur" also proposes travel cards which allow unlimited travel on the city bus  and tram network for 1 to 7 days, and include a free trip on the "Airport-Nice  City" route.

By Road

To reach the city centre :

The motorway provides direct access to the  neighbourhood of your choice, with 5 exits :

  • exit n° 50 : promenade des Anglais
  • exit n° 51 : Saint-Augustin
  • exit n° 52 : Saint-Isidore

By Train

From the principal train station, NICE Ville, take the tram on Ave Thiers direction Pont Michel.

Tickets cost €1 and can be bought at the tram stop.

  • For the old town:  Cathedrale Vieille Ville
  • For the Port:  Garabaldi

Things to see: the ramparts, musée de la Castre, square tower and the religious buildings. An exceptional view point over the town, port, Croisette, Iles de Lérins and over a large part of the bay of Cannes.


On foot from the old town, the soul of Cannes, the Forville market and its ring of food shops (butchers, delicatessens, fishmongers bakers, wine merchants, etc.) will allow you to discover one of the aspects of a town eternally famous for its shopping. You will also enjoy the exceptional geographical location of Cannes which is ideal for short excursions to Grasse, Mougins and Antibes.
